I 1933 købte Baron Philippe De Rothschild Chateau D'Armailhac, et slot som udover sine 50 hektar vinmarker i Pauillac også er kendt for sin slotshave eller park om man vil, som er blandt de smukkeste i hele Bordeaux.

I dag er det op til børnene Philippe, Camille og Julien Rothschild at drive slottet og fortsætte stilen. Markerne ligge mod syd og vest op i mod Ponte Canets marker og mod øst grænser disse op imod Chateau Mouton Rothschild.
